Human Coronavirus (COVID-19) Measures

Your health is just as important to us as your pets, so we wanted to let you know what we are doing at the clinic to minimize exposure and transmission of the novel coronavirus, so that you can make the right decisions as to whether you keep or reschedule your appointment. We are taking all reasonable measures to err on the side of caution.

1. ALL clients will receive curbside service ONLY!

All appointments, surgeries, dentals, food and prescription requests, and boarding patients, will be handled in a low-contact, curbside service.  When you arrive at the clinic, just give us a call (712-544-2521) and we will help you however we can, whether that means bringing out your food and flea meds, bringing your pet in for a checkup, or delivering your dog from our facility.  We can accept a cash, card or check payment in person or a card over the phone.

We want to serve you and your pets through COVID-19 and for many years to follow.  But right now, taking steps to reduce interpersonal contact where possible is of utmost importance to reduce the severity of this pandemic.

2. Healthy employees only; increased cleanliness standards

Any employees with any respiratory symptoms or fever will be staying home.  We will be thoroughly disinfecting all hard surfaces/doorknobs between appointments.  Staff is instructed to thoroughly wash their hands between every client and pet interaction.  At this point, all our staff is in good health.

3. If you would rather stay home, that is OKAY!

If your pet is in good health and you would like to postpone an annual exam/vaccination appointment that is absolutely fine.  We can either reschedule, or you can call to reschedule when things have settled down.

4. Refills, food and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives

If you need food, a prescription refilled, or flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, please give us a call!  We can accept payment over the phone and have those ready for curbside pickup or you may follow the link above to purchase these via our online store and have them delivered to you directly.
