Sara has been at the Shelby Vet Clinic for 21 years. She likes to spend her free time going to her children's soccer, wrestling and baseball games. She also enjoys helping her husband with their Hereford herd. Sara currently resides in rural Shelby with her husband, Alan. Sara also has 3 children: Nathan, Anna and Marshall. Sara's father, Tomas Toucedo, who is originally from Argentina, also resides with her.
Lani graduated from Jennie Edmundson Nursing School in 1996 with an RN degree. She has been working in the healthcare field for 13 years. Lani has been at the Shelby Vet Clinic since January of 2014. Her interests include gardening, fishing and anything outdoors. Lani has two daughters, Brandi and Sheyna and a son, Cody. She currently resides in Shelby.
Deidre graduated from Harlan High School in 2010. She has been at the Shelby Vet Clinic since February, 2014. In her free time, Deidre enjoys riding horses, fishing and anything that includes the outdoors. she currently resides in Earling, IA with her 2 horses, 1 cats and a dog named Trixie (A.K.A.-Booger).
Ron is a 1966 graduate of Shelby Tennant Community High School in Shelby, IA. Ronnie has been at the Shelby Vet Clinic for 37 years. His interests include working at Dr. Donald Hansen's farm with his Thoroughbred horses and spending time with the clinic dogs. He currently resides in Shelby, IA with his cat, Captain.
Rich is a 1988 graduate of the University of Nebraska School of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, NE. He graduated from Avoca High School in 1986. Rich has been at the Shelby Vet Clinic since he graduated as a Veterinary Technician in 1988. His interests include all large animal and equine medicine. Rich also enjoys watching his daughters' sporting events with his wife. He currently resides in Neola, IA with his wife, Alli, and his two daughters, Olivia and Meredith.
Carlee is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She is a 2014 graduate of the Veterinary Technology Program at Iowa Western Community College. In 2011, she graduated from Tri-Center High School as Valedictorian of her graduating class. She has been at the Shelby Vet Clinic since March 2012. Her interests include small animal medicine and surgery as well as bovine/caprine medicine and surgery. In her free time, Carlee enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as, fishing and watching college football. She currently resides in Neola, IA.
John is a 1998 graduate of EHK High School in Elk Horn, Iowa. He currently resides in Portsmouth, IA. He has been at the Shelby Vet Clinic since May of 2014. Prior to working at the clinic, John worked as a cattleman at 3 feedyards. His interest include camping, mushroom hunting, and hanging out with his children.
Travis is a 2015 AHSTW graduate. He has been at the Shelby Vet Clinic since August 2015. Prior to working at the clinic, Travis worked on Doc Hansen's farm taking care of thoroughbreds. His interests include: fishing, camping and watching football. He currently resides in Avoca, IA.
Al has been at the S.V.C. feed store in Minden, IA since May 2012. His interests include raising his small herd of Polled Herefords outside of Shelby, IA with his father-in-law. Al has lived in the Shelby area his whole life and currently lives 3 miles East of Shelby with his wife, Sara, who is a receptionist at the clinic. They have 3 children: Nathan, Anna and Marshall.
